About
EDWARD ALLAN FAINE has been a jazz fan since his early teen years in Cleveland, Ohio, where he spent an inordinate amount of time in listening booths at the back of downtown record shops. After a three-year stint in the army, he attended Ohio State University and the University of Buffalo. Upon graduating with a master’s in electrical engineering, he began his first career in international satellite communications.
Many years later, he discovered his true calling when he became a writer of children’s books, notably Bebop Babies. His first titles for adults, Ellington at the White House 1969 and Prisoner Chaser, were released in 2013.
